A block of flats with 6 studios in Xerokambos, air conditioning, 3 Gardens and 3 floors that lies on the same property as Taverna Kostas, into a beautiful garden, surrounded by olive trees close to Xerokambos beach.The village of Zakros is only 10 km far and Kato Zakros 19 km.

Rooms feature a double bed, 2 brick benches and table (alsosuitable as a children's bed), a table with chairs, a kitchen with arefrigerator, filter coffee machine, table-ware and cutlery, bath with shower and WC, corridor with a wardrobe and balcony with sea view.

Xerokampos, "the dry plain", in the south-eastern part of Crete, the best place for someone to relax.

Now, very easy to reach through a new asphalt-road, Xerokambos is a settlement of houses and holiday areas in the middle of olive trees, in a wonderful, nearly natural landscape with mountains, fantastic sand beaches and a deep blue sea.

Xerokambos is popular among with the native tourists, but still very quiet, without hotels with loud animations and bars and discotheques.

For walkers Xerokampos is a paradise, with little-known places (Valley of the Dead at Zakros) and unknown (e.g. Hametoulo) ravines, gorges and canyons.

It is also ideal for beach lovers. It can also be a starting point for trips, with tourist highlights.

For those who would like themselves to be comfortable, there'sa child friendly beach with sun beds and umbrellas. It is also a true paradise for divers.

In Ziros, approximately a 1/2 hour of travel, one can finds several Cafeterias, a mini market, a baker's shop, a butcher, a post office, 2 gas stations and a medical supply in the military base.

The well built, asphalted and winding road to Xerokampos is one of the most beautiful roads of Crete with a beautiful view of Xerokampos and the sea especially for the motor bikers.

The road is built around a stony natural landscape, with many herbs and congestion caused only by goats or sheep!

Zakros can be reached in approx. a 1/2 hour. The road between Xerokampos and Zakros has now finished. The distance from Zakros village is 11kms and the way is newly asphalted.

In Zakros one can find mini markets, several taverns, a good Pizzeria, Kafenions (cafιs), gas stations and the entrance of the famous ravine, the valley of the dead.

The Minoan palace at Kato Zakros is surely an attraction worth to see and also one can find there a beautiful, calm beach and a few taverns.

One hour travel from Sitia, in the northeast of Crete, a lively small town port with a good market and taverns. At Ierapetra, in the southeast approx.. 1 1/2 travel, there's also a good market and lots of taverns.
